Well, we went up to Washington and had a great time, but we had quite a time getting there. I accidently hit a bunny that ran out on to the freeway then we had car troubles and had to spend the night in FRESNO while the car was fixed. We got up there a day later than planned.

We stayed in Olympia and looked around at property. It is beautiful up there. Maybe someday we will buy a house there and get the hell out of California. I would be closer to my mom, but my hubby would be away from his family. We went to Waterville (on the eastside of Washington) to pick up my Mom who was visiting her brother. We spent the remainder of our vacation doing work for my Mom and going out to Chehalis looking at antiques. We bought my Mom a lawn mower and "weed wacker". She has been keeping busy doing yard work since.

On the way home our car started giving us problems again, so we limped it home and took it into the dealership for repairs. It is now getting a new engine. It seems that when they did the repairs in Fresno the messed up some electrical stuff that affected the thermostat and allowed the engine to over heat excessively. So we are getting that engine free.

Out side of the problems of the car we enjoyed our time away from the kids (even though we love them a lot). It was fun.
